Pfsense timeout på kortplats 0 port 0

Feb 19, 2021 · Ever since I upgraded to pfSense 2.5.0, my NordVPN interface does not work anymore. Traffic does not get routes to the NordVPN gateway, as pfSense reports it as "down" with 100% package loss. When checking "Status -> OpenVPN" the connection is reported as UP, but the gateway is DOWN.

From somewhere I noticed that udp connection has some problems in response or port forward. So I stop the running vpn clients from the largest ip to the hanging client, e.g, from "10.8.0.100" to "10.8.0.50". Then start the stopped vpn clients in reverse. Bang! All the vpn clients work propoerly.

If you have ordered 3-port router, your LAN port will be in the middle, and the third port will be left unconfigured. If you have a 4-port TLsense device, the WAN is configured on port 1, LAN is most of the time on port 2, but sometimes pfSense detects it on port 4. If port 2 does not work, try to connect to port 4. Még nem csináltam ilyesmit, a pfsense-t választottam a feladatra. Feltelepítettem VM-ként, belógattam 1-1 interfészt a 3 szegmensbe, és egy NAT kapcsolatot állítottam be a VMware-en, hogy tudjak a host-tal kommunikálni.
